About These Terms
The services that PACER provides to you are subject to the following Terms of Use ("TOU"). We reserve the right to periodically update the TOU. These terms are not intended to be exhaustive, but we expect all users to abide by ethical scientific practices, ethical societal behavior, and applicable local, national, and international law.
The Psychometric Analysis and Computing Environment for Research (PACER) was developed under a philosophy of open and accessible scientific software. Our goal is to support ethical scientific practice and to empower researchers — primarily in the social sciences — with their inquiries. While the code behind PACER is proprietary, the methods, computational implementations, rationales, and ideas underpinning PACER will be transparently communicated.

You are authorized to view, download, copy, and print materials from PACER subject to the following conditions: materials may be used solely for personal, educational, or non-commercial purposes; all copies must properly attribute PACER; materials may not be modified or passed off as your own; and materials may not be used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the PACER developers.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall PACER and its developers be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits — whether in contract, negligence, or other tortious action — arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the software, provision of or failure to provide services, or information available from the platform.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold PACER and its developers harmless from any claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arise from or relate to your use of this platform, any content you supply, or your violation of these Terms of Use.
Privacy and Protection of Personal Information

Results are returned to your browser and no copies are kept on the server.
